Your relaxing stay in a haven of peace
We have imagined the Chill House for ourselves, our children and our friends. Originally from Bordeaux, we have constantly been roaming the Bassin d'Arcachon region, in continuous search of fun activities and excursions. The idea is to let you benefit from our best tips to experience the most of this region, and then to chill out at home to rest from the day's activities around the swimming pool or the boulodrome, to better restart the next day.
An idyllic house for a convivial vacation
The Chill House is a lovely oasis of peace on the road from Le Porge to the ocean. It is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday with friends or family.
Completely renovated, the house has everything you need to spend a pleasant stay where you will experience good vibes only!
Pétanque track, ping-pong table, trampoline, but also a heated swimming pool and an outdoor kitchen equipped with a plancha... everything has been thought of to make your summer stay as pleasant as possible. And our wood-burning stove will also brighten up your winter evenings.
Bodyboards, inflatable buoys, sports balls and social games will also be available to liven up your children's day.
A perfect location to enjoy a broad range of leisure activities
Located halfway between Lacanau and the Bassin d'Arcachon, the location of the Chill House is ideal for exploring the region. It will suit both nature lovers and thrill-seekers.
The wild and totally preserved character of the Porge domain forest will offer you an incredible panorama for your walks, bike rides or even on horseback.
A more intimate spot than Lacanau, Le Porge has a multitude of beaches suitable for both beginners and experienced surfers.
The proximity of the lakes of Carcans-Hourtin and Lacanau offers a multitude of possibilities in terms of water activities.

Le Porge is surrounded by several beautiful beaches. You will be able to vary the pleasures according to your criteria of predilection.
Le Porge Central
Very easy access (duckboard) but very crowded in summer. To do for a beach early in the morning or a picnic in the evening, the rest of the time go to the South to be quiet.
Le Porge Sud
Go to the very end of the parking lot to avoid the crowd. 10-15 min walk without grating, the price of tranquility, and often good waves.
Les Américains
A beach located in Cap Ferret, on the Arcachon basin side, therefore without waves. The beach is wide and deep enough for small children, with even a shaded area under the pine trees during hot weather.
La Pointe
Magic panorama at the end of the Cap Ferret peninsula with the Arcachon Basin on one side and the Ocean on the other. Attention limited access because of the erosion.
La Salie
A unique lunar landscape south of the Dune du Pilat. It takes a good 20 minutes walking but the area is wild and beautiful, with a nice restaurant on the parking in the woods. Good waves but beware of the Wharf which can generate some smells.
